FORT SHAFTER

Fort Shafter is a United States military base in Honolulu, Hawaii. Fort Shafter is the home base of the US Army Pacific Command, the Major Command of US Army Forces for the Pacific Region, and the Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Ocean Division. Fort Shafter is the oldest military base on the island of Oahu. Service members fondly refer to Fort Shafter as the “pineapple Pentagon.”

The military justice system can be brutal to all service members, even high-ranking ones. Nobody is immune from a judicial system that can sometimes find UCMJ misconduct where none actually exists. And even if you’re not convicted at a court martial, a mere accusation, no matter how incredibly weak it may be, can bring an end to even the most distinguished military career.

  • Despite your years of faithful military service, government prosecutors or higher-ranking officials are moving to tear down all that you’ve built, or at least much of it.
  • Your retirement, healthcare benefits, and military pay could suddenly be snatched away.
  • In a worst-case scenario, you may face a dismissal, dishonorable discharge, punitive fines, and even incarceration. A requirement to register as a sex offender for decades or even life also accompanies certain sex crime offenses.

You’ve dedicated too much time and passion to your military career to have it destroyed without a fight. Contact Noel Tipon TODAY to learn how we would investigate, prepare, and defend your case.

Fort Shafter Judicial Proceedings

Established in 1907, Fort Shafter has been a presence in Hawaii for well over 100 years. Today, there are approximately 8,000 active duty service members working at Fort Shafter.

As with every other military installation these days, Fort Shafter is not immune from UCMJ allegations that include rape, sexual assault and other sex crimes, drug crimes, and all other conduct that is punishable in the military justice system. Similarly, Article 15 hearings and other adverse administrative actions are frequently convened against Fort Shafter service members.

Army Personnel at Fort Shafter Trust Noel Tipon to Defend Them

Our firm’s convenient location in Honolulu, Hawaii, combined with our extensive experience in all things related to military justice, makes us uniquely suited to handle any adverse military matter you are facing.

  • We are based right here in Hawaii and can meet you in hours or less. Other attorney’s don’t have this ability. Because time is of the essence in any military justice matter, it is important that you act now before evidence showing your innocence is lost, witnesses become tainted or scared, and your case generally becomes more difficult to win.
  • The legal team that we will deploy in your defense has everything needed to investigate, prepare, and defend your case with an intellectually aggressive strategy that we would put up against any legal team in the world.
  • We’ve built a network of personal relationships which run through all of Hawaii and reaches to Washington, D.C. From state and local courts, to Hawaii’s military law enforcement and prosecutors, our associate connections give us capabilities that are difficult to match.
